Class 8 Trip to Raj Ghat and Gandhi Smriti

The trip began when ninety groggy children boarded the school buses and left for Raj Ghat. Upon arrival we immediately went to the area where Gandhi Ji was cremated. After doing so we crossed the street to look at marvels from Gandhi Ji’s life. Those included the jeep he last rode, the boat he used to successfully complete the Dandi March etc. We then departed for Gandhi Smriti, the area where Gandhi Ji was shot dead. We retraced the final moments of his life and followed his last footsteps. We watched tiny clips which flooded us with information about his life. Truly the man of the millennium, he deserves every ounce of respect he is getting.
