Village Trip to Teekli Village, Haryana

On 31st March 2014, students of Sociology and Geography from class 12 visited Teekli Village, Haryana for a village survey. We talked to the village panchayat about various social, political and local issues after which we spent some individual time with different families of the village. We interacted with them and tried to understand their lives, including the various problems they faced, their occupations, lifestyles and the level of education prevalent in the village. It was a great experience, stepping outside our hurried city-lives and meeting people in Teekli gaon.
