Dr. Rahul Garg from the Department of Computer Science, IIT Delhi was the speaker in the Citizen's Science Lecture

He gave us an insight into the history of brain research first and then explained the different types of imaging technics that are used for diagnostic purposes. Interestingly, he brought up the link between brain and mind and the right and left brain issues, which the audience enjoyed immensely. Finally, he suggested various career options to the students as Biologists, Mathematicians or Engineers to contribute to the ever-challenging area of brain research.

Students and teachers from twelve schools attended the talk along with Vasant Valley Students. It was indeed an enriching experience!
