Vasant Valley School Village Interaction

Vasant Valley School is partnering with the Government School, Jhanjraula , Haryana to give students in both schools an opportunity to experience each other's daily environment.

On the 23rd of March 11 children from Vasant Valley School visited Jhanjrola village in rural Haryana. This was the 5th trip to the village overall and it was the 1st trip of 2017.
They arrived around 9:30 on the first day. On the first day they visited the fields of the village. They also had the opportunity to travel in a tractor. The students asked the Sarpanch some questions about the village.
On the next day they visited the school. They got an opportunity to teach Maths to the village kids. They also sang some songs and played Kabaddi with the village children.
25th March was our last day. The kids attended a Morning Prayer session followed by some yoga. Then after packing their bags they concluded the trip by visiting the Sultanpur bird sanctuary.
