Book Discussion on the Book - The Trials of Apollo;The Hidden Oracle by Rick Riordan

Experiences such as the book discussion conducted on the book "Trials of Apollo" are hard to forget. The discussion started with an introduction of one of our favourite authors - Rick Riordan - and included an interactive discussion about the various characters, themes and unanswered questions in the text. Every important element of the book was discussed including even the minor incidents.The participants played Charades, Character Pictionary and participated in a Rapid Fire. This book discussion has brought one of the biggest and happiest gatherings to the library and we all sincerely hope that there are many more to follow.

The book discussion conducted on the book "The Trials of Apollo" was extremely engaging and saw students from classes 8-9 coming together to cherish a fan favourite. The topics touched upon in the discussion ranged from the author and his life to unravelling of various themes of the book. A quiz followed the discussion wherein the audience answered questions about the book only a dedicated reader could answer. The discussion was followed by games such as Character pictionary and charades. All in all the students thoroughly enjoyed the event, and the hosts did a splendid job.
