8th Art Marathon

Vasant Valley School's online Art Marathon 2020 saw three schools—Tagore International School, Shiv Nadar School, and Vasant Valley School—Coming together to celebrate art and its various forms with its pioneers. With workshops in comedy, rap, painting, dance, music production, theatre, and culinary arts, the students were taught by renowned artists Vir Das, Muzzle, Kanchan Chander, Priya Venkatraman, Piyush Shankar, Pallav Chander, and Bani Nanda, respectively. With more than 15 students for each workshop, each artist gave in-depth insight into their work, from writing a song in the music production workshop to subjectivity in humour in the comedy workshop. Getting a first hand understanding of the struggles and joys of the arts they'd like to pursue, students found this experience to be enriching and invaluable.
