Today morning it was like a sports carnival at the Vasant Valley School field where more than 40 parents had participated in different games like Cricket, Football and Basketball. Full of energy and spirit they competed against the Students in a T20 cricket match, a basketball match and a 7-a-side football match. Even though the students won all the three matches, the parents showed their enthusiasm and skills in all three games.

In the cricket match the students defeated the parents by 7 wickets. Students won the toss and decided to bowl first. Sameer Kachroo, Onil Chandna and Gagan Khoda once again batted well for the parents and made 142 runs in 20 overs. Sarthak Khosla and Amay Gupta bowled very well for the student's team. They both took three wickets each. Aditya Jain and Shaurya Bharadwaj opened the batting and made a century partnership together. Aditya scored 46 runs and Shaurya made 54 runs.

Sameer Kachroo had been given the Mom award for his quick 27 runs and two wickets. We have also chosen Sarthak Khosla as the Best Bowler and Shaurya Bharadwaj as the Best Batsman of the match.

In football the Students dominated the game and won quite easily. Eishaan Puri was excellent in the striking position and scored 7 goals.

Students also won the Basketball match by 33 - 17 points.
