Sports Carnival 2020

A sports carnival was organised on Saturday, 1st February, 2020 where parents, staff and students showed their enthusiasm and took part in various games like Basketball, Football and Cricket.
A T-10 Cricket Tournament was organised between parents, staff and students where all the teams had won one match each but the most exciting match of the day was parents v/s staff. The parents chased a huge total of 140 runs made in 10 overs by the staff. Gutsy Sameer Kachru hit the last ball for six runs over the long on boundary and made a score of 50 runs in 19 balls. Sameer and Arjun Khanna, the 'Player of the Tournament', made a partnership of more than 100 runs. Arjun scored 64 runs in 31 balls.
In other matches students won easily against the parents but lost against the staff. Aditya Jain played a fantastic knock of 67 runs against parents and was adjudged as the most promising player now in school. Pankaj Tiwari showed off his muscle power while hitting few sixes. Saarthak was exceptional with his swing bowling. Abhay was outstanding on the field and was awarded as the Best Fielder of the Tournament. Apart from batting we also saw some good pace bowling from Paras and Gaurang and some spin bowling from Jasraj Singh.
In Football we had some good and skill full footballers like Mr Vikash, Mr Agarwal, Mr. Bhardwaj and Mr Mundhra on the field. The mixed teams of parents and staff won both the matches against the students mixed member team from classes 9 and 10.
Parents also showed their enthusiasm and skills in the Basketball court and won the match by 45-41.
