The Special Olympics, National Basket ball Training and Competition took place from October 7 th to 9 th , 2006 at Army Public school . Dhruv Kohli was chosen to play for the Delhi Team (senior). There were 13 states being represented , 170 athletes and there were 21 teams. Dhruv played well and shot 2 baskets for the team. Delhi team won the Silver medal they lost to Bihar

Special Olympics State Soccer Games were held in VVS on 2nd and 3rd of August. 13 teams participated in the event. Mr Kapur received the Special Olympics torch and declared the games open.
