EVEN IF A BIT TOO LATE
As I look back,
I feel selfless,
Everything I seem to lack,
Makes me defenseless.
Closing my eyes,
Returning to the past.
Trying to convince myself,
It was not for meant to last.
I had turned to ignorance,
To hide my fears.
I even tried to act numb
But that didn't hold back my tears.
By the law of nature,
I know it will change.
Because the sun always rises
Even after it rains.
I wouldn't let these failures,
Break my dreams, my faith,
I'll reach my destination,
Even if a bit too late.
