Classes 9-12 had a science essay writing competition on Monday the 16th.
CBSE Tournament
The Boys and Girls Basketball teams participated in the CBSE Basketball Tournament which begun on Tuesday the 17th. Both teams got a walkover in the first round. In the second round, the boys team faced and beat Surajbhan DAV School. It was an extremely close match with a nail biting finish. The boys team went on to reach the Quarter Finals, where they lost to Mamta Model School, who clearly outplayed us. Still it was a good tournament for the boys team, who played against the best teams in the city and managed to beat most of them. The Girls team also faired well, beating DAV Kailash Hills on Wednesday, the 18th. But they lost in the next round.
Basketball Zonals
The School took part in the North Zone Basketball Tournament. The Boys team reached the semi-finals, but lost to Chinmaya Vidhyalaya. The Girls team did better. They were to play Modern School in the Finals, but Modern School chose not to show up. They are yet to fix a date for the match.
Squash
The School Squash Team (Delhi State Champions) went to Mayo College for All India School |
Championship. They came last out of the pool of four.
Badminton Zonals
Thursday the 19th:
Boys and Girls Badminton Team participated in the Zonals Badminton Tournament. The girls beat DAV School in quarter finals, and DPS Vasant Kunj in the Semi-finals. The boys lost in Semifinal.

Group (Vocal) - Blue House
Solo (Vocal) - Jaya Sharma (Green)
Duet (Vocal) - Jaya Sharma and Angeldeep Kaur(Green)
Overall Trophy- Blue House
Rohan Arora and Ragigni Hazari participated in a debate held at Shriram School.
