Question:

In the Inter House Soccer tournament, Green emerged victorious against Yellow, winning 1-0. Dhananjaya Chak of class XI was the lone scorer. Congratulations Green House!

Dhruv Dhavan (Class XII) won the Junior state/national level Squash championship on Sunday, 11th of August. His opponent in the finals was Karan Himmat Singh from Class X.

In the Master Blaster Tournament match against Rai school, the Vasant Valley Cricket team won convincingly, reaching their target of 75 with 6 wickets in hand. Rahil Sareen of class 11 provided a match winning performance taking 6 wickets.

Aditya Singh of class 6 won 3rd place in the Delhi Zone Swimming tournament 
The students of Class XI visited the Kamani Auditorium to watch a 

representation of Shakespeare's Macbeth on the Thursday, 16th of August.

Our nations 54th Independence day was celebrated with patriotic fervour. Class 12 and some members of the alumni stayed the Tuesday night at school setting the stage for the following day's celebrations.

Ankit Bahri, Partha S Mudgil, Pratik Sharda and Deivyani Dheer represented our school in the Don Bosco debate held on the 10th of August. The topic of the debate was “The Reign of Plastics must end.”

The Maths Prize examination was held on the 13th of August. The winners were Ankit Bahri (XII), Aatish Bhatia (XI), Abhishek Srivastav(X), Yaman Verma (IX), Arnav Sharma (VIII), Charvi Singh (VII), and Arjun Bajaj (VI).
