A seven-year old Iraqi girl was charred to death as a result of USA’s retaliatory bombings a few days ago. There was no justification for this attack, as there wasn’t one in January 1999.There was no sanction from the UN Security Council for this attack. This action on behalf of the United States puts a question mark on the very basis of the UN charter. Iraq does not have any military strength to write home about, forget retaliating to American bombers? Then what is the purpose of this attack? To unseat Saddam? The US has consistently being trying to do this since the Gulf War days. What gives them the right to decide what is good for the rest of the world?
